Bahamian Gaming License for Casino Software Provider Pragmatic Play

Pragmatic Play Get Bahamian Gaming License

Online casino game designer Pragmatic Play has announced that they've been granted a gaming license through the Gaming Board For The Bahamas, and will begin offering services to a wider audience as a result.

The license will allow Pragmatic to offer services within the Bahamian market as well as with operating sites that recognize the license. The move is the latest licensing move from the company, which holds certification in the UK, Malta, Italy, and Romania.

Speaking about the licensing Pragmatic's Head of Business Development Yossi Barzely said,

"The Bahamas license represents another step forward in our global strategy to capitalise on the increasing regulation in local markets. This allows us to service even these niche jurisdictions with 'go-to' gaming products from day one and continue to help our customers increase revenues."

While the Bahamas offering licenses is promising, if their first license is to a poor group like Pragmatic Play, it raises concerns. Pragmatic has a bad reputation and is essentially a renamed TopGame, which is has been shown to have bugs and be associated with rogue casinos.
